The V Bowl showing is hosted in rocks of the Lower Jurassic Telkwa Formation, Hazelton Group. A small Eocene stock of the Coast Plutonic Complex intrudes the strata to the immediate southwest of the area. Extensive masses of quartz diorite of the Middle Jurassic Trapper Plutonic Suite intrude to the north, west and south.

The V Bowl showing was discovered in 2007 on the New Moon property of Anglo Columbia Mines Inc. Nine (9) samples were collected from the area including one outcrop sample (07ALP007) that contained chalcopyrite, malachite and azurite and which yielded 2.9 per cent copper, 0.99 per cent lead and 1.8 per cent zinc (Assessment Report 29585). The style of mineralization and its hosting geology were not determined.

Refer to New Moon (093E 011) for related geological and work history details of those showings such as the V Bowl showing that occur on the New Moon property.
